Global financial markets have been the main source of funding for Uruguay in recent years. Global Bonds (GB) are financial instruments offered by the Republic to investors in the United States of America registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and in other jurisdictions in compliance with applicable legislation.
GB issued by Uruguay represent the majority of the Central Government's portfolio. Most of these bonds are denominated in US dollars. Additionally, Uruguay launched GB in CPI - indexed bonds. In both cases, regular presence in the global markets ensured the proper functioning of a US Dollar and a CPI - linked bonds yield curve.Descargar: Outstanding Market Debt (.xls 693 KB)
