Foto aérea nocturna de una ciudadThe Uruguayan Government periodically issues Consumer Price Index (CPI) - linked bonds and nominal peso bonds in the domestic market. Also, due to a fluid access to global financial markets, the Republic of Uruguay has launched bonds in CPI - linked Units, US Dollars, Japanese Yens, Euros, and Chilean Pesos and plans to continue tapping these markets.

This section includes relevant statistics which describe the main characteristics of the Uruguayan Central Government's portfolio.
