June 6th, 2016. S&P affirmed Uruguay sovereign credit rating at BBB while, at the same time, revised its outlook to negative from stable.

The negative outlook reflects S&P view that there is a greater than one-in-three likelihood to lower the ratings on Uruguay over the next two years.
