Since 2011, the Debt Management Unit (DMU) has carried out an Investor Relations Program based on the best practices suggested by the Institute of International Finance (IIF). As part of this program, an institutional website was designed that takes into account investors relations best practices according to the IIF.
The IIF has developed a set of criteria for the evaluation of Investor Relations practices and a set of criteria for the evaluation of the data dissemination practices of emerging market sovereign debt issuers. The results of the evaluation are released in October of each year at the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
This set of 20 criteria for evaluation is grouped into 6 chapters: 1) staff in charge of Investor Relations activities; 2) website; 3) publication of macroeconomic data and policy information; 4) investor database; 5) communication channels with the investment community and 6) frequent reviews of the Investor Relations program.
